MVP Flag Football at a Glance

Focus is on FUN, age-appropriate basketball FUNDAMENTALS, and lots of PLAYING TIME for all!

Co-Ed* League for kids K through 8th Grade

*Note we will do our best to provide girls-only teams/leagues as numbers allow. If you are interested in joining an all-girls team please note this in the comments box during registration.

Grade Divisions: K/1, 2/3, 4/5, 6-8

Open to All: MVP Youth Sports welcomes kids from any district or community—Public, Private, Charter, and Home School.

Weekly Format: 30‑minute practice followed by a 1 hour game.

Athlete Perks: Weekly sports trading card, plus an MVP T‑shirt and medal at season’s end.

Equipment: No personal equipment needed. Reversible jerseys, flag belts, and footballs are provided.

Footwear & Safety: Athletic shoes required. Cleats optional. Mouth guards recommended (available on‑site for $2).

Jerseys: MVP reversible jerseys are yours to be worn all season, and returned at season’s end in exchange for an MVP T‑shirt and medal.

Requests: Friend and coach requests are honored when possible until teams reach capacity. Add requests in the registration comment box.

Dates: Sunday September 13 – Sunday October 18

Practices and games take place on Sundays between 12:00pm – 3:00pm

Registration Fee: $169* for the 6-week session

Program Overview

Grade Divisions: K/1, 2/3, 4/5, 6-8

Open to Everyone: MVP Youth Sports welcomes all kids—Public, Private, Charter, and Home School—from any district or community.

Weekly Schedule

Practice + Game: Each week includes a 30‑minute practice immediately followed by a 45-minute game.

Athlete Gear & Perks

Included: Weekly sports trading card, MVP reversible jersey, game wristbands, basketballs.
End‑of‑Season: MVP T‑shirt and medal (jerseys are returned at season’s end).
No personal equipment required.

Footwear & Safety

Required: Non-marking athletic shoes
Optional: Rubber cleats (no metal)
Reccommended: Mouth guards (available on‑site for $2)

Game Format

5‑on‑5 for teams of 10 athletes
Rotation system to allow equal playing time and ball touches.

Ball Sizes

K/1: PeeWee (size 6)
2/3 & 4/5: Junior (size 7)
6-8: Youth (size 8)

Team Requests

MVP honors friend and coach requests whenever possible until teams reach capacity. Add your request in the comment box during registration.

To view your child’s team schedule and roster information, login to your LeagueApps account or use the LeagueApps Play app. Information will be available approximately 10 days prior to the start of the season.

Weather Information: We do play flag football in the rain. We will cancel or postpone if there is severe weather such as hail, thunder & lightning, or snow. In the event that we have to cancel or postpone, all families will be notified by email. We cannot guarantee that we will be able to make up missed games due to inclement weather, however we will try our best to extend the season if the fields are available for continued use.

Refund Policy: Full refunds will be given if registration is canceled prior to the start of the season. There is a $10.00 merchant account fee deducted from the refund.
